order to maintain a leading position in the telecommunications
market, TECOM is dedicated to the research and development
of new technologies and innovative products. In its Vision
for Telecommunications , TECOM will focus on developing broadband
Internet access equipment including ADSL Modem/Router and
DSLAM, and in-building wireless communications such as cordless
telephone system and Bluetooth-based solutions.
TECOM
will strengthen its GSM equipment/handset sales by establishing
over 300 telecommunications retail centers throughout Taiwan
within two years that will sell all types of communications,
IT, and home appliance products and services
